Handmade Paper Flower Exhibition Series: "TOUCH" THE VALUE OF TRADITION
For nearly 400 years (1558 - 1945), as the capital of Southern Vietnam and the Nguyễn Dynasty, the ancient city of Huế has been one of the cultural and historical cradles of Vietnam. Through many ups and downs, this land now holds value like a living museum, as it continues to be a place that gathers and preserves tangible and intangible cultural heritage, reflecting the intellect and soul of the Vietnamese people. Traditional paper flowers from Thanh Tiên village are one of these beautiful crafts that have endured through centuries of turbulent history, continuing to contribute to contemporary life.

As a native of this ancient capital, Maypaperflower takes great pride in and is deeply grateful for the peaceful energy passed down through generations in preserving these traditional crafts. Therefore, Maypaperflower is organizing an exhibition series to introduce the beauty of Huế's handmade paper flowers, crafted by artisan Trần Phú from Thanh Tiên village, to traditional culture lovers in Ho Chi Minh City.

Additionally, by attending this exhibition series, you will have the opportunity to "touch" the value of tradition through sharing and interacting with the artisan.

The event will feature a discussion on preserving traditional crafts in modern life, hosted by paper flower artisan Trần Phú, culinary culture artisan Hồ Đắc Thiếu Anh, and educator-lawyer Ngô Tiến Nhân. This session will also highlight the challenges and responsibilities of younger generations in revitalizing cultural values in contemporary life, with insights from Phan Ngọc Hiếu, founder of Maypaperflower.

The paper flower-making workshop, accompanied by artistic fruit desserts, promises to bring exciting experiences to all exhibition visitors.
