Maypaperflower was born from a simple yet profound aspiration: to preserve and breathe new life into a fading cultural heritage – the 300-year-old Thanh Tien paper flower craft of Hue Imperial City.

In 2019, within a modest 4m² room in Hue, May began with nothing more than two hands, a few sheets of art paper, and an unwavering belief in the value of sustainable beauty. Founded by Phan Ngoc Hieu – a woman who entered the craft from a completely different path – Maypaperflower is a “labor of love” inspired by a deep affection for Hue’s culture, traditional craftsmanship, nature, and the art of refined details.

Each petal is cut, dyed, shaped, and formed entirely by hand by skilled artisans. We are committed to using eco-friendly, FSC-certified materials, creating products that are both beautiful and sustainable for nature.
